Work Packages

Overview

The project structure is divided into three main interrelated components:

• Management
• Technical and Research Work Packages
• Dissemination

Both management and dissemination will accompany the technical work for the duration of the project, the technical work will be undertaken in three main phases starting with the definition of the detailed technical features of the scenarios (WP1), then with the definition and design of algorithms and architecture (WP2, WP3, WP4) and finally, the last phase of the project will be dealing with the proof of concept (WP5, WP6). The management activities (WP0) aim at ensuring the efficient interworking between the partners, while the dissemination activities (WP7) will have the main goal to promote the results and achievements of the project.

The ORACLE project structure:

ORACLE enabled terminals will be able to sense their immediate environment. They will also be able to forward spectrum occupancy information provided by radio networks to terminals that may be in a shadowing area and are not able to correctly sense the real context within the radio environment, thus providing system information via multiple wireless hops. ORACLE terminals will be able to communicate through cellular networks and to use radio context information provided by these networks.
